making putiputi

On week 8 it was Maori language week  in New Zealand. celebrated it by making putiputi, putiputi is a flower made out of harekeke which is flax.

Seals are predators that have fur well most of the time they do, sometimes they have no fur.                  

Seals live on big rocks in ochins of southwest Africa, Antarctica and America. A seal’s life can be very hard most of the time there are storms, and the water pulls them of the rocks.                                 

 Seals live in the ochins so there most likely to eat stuff from the ochin, they eat octopus, fish, squid and other stuff from the ochin.

Seals are predators and most of them are fears and mean.

What I learnt from life ED

how to pick the right stick: when picking a stick  the right one is one that is under your bellybutton.

how to use the stick: on a hockey stick there is a flat side and cearved side you use the flat side.

Asking questions for reading

This week my reading group has  been working on asking questions. My group has read the book night light by David Hill 

We had to ask questions before  reading during  reading and after  reading.

Today in room 13 we had a visitor,

She taught us all about the WINTER FLU. *Trap it - when you are sneezing or coughing you cover it with your elbow. *bin it - then you through it in the bin.*Wash it -always wash your hands after trapping it and binning it.
