SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY- 2018

SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY

Today Megan came in and introduced us to the summer learning journey. The summer learning journey is a blogging and activity  program you can do in your  holidays.

TODAY OUR FOCUS WAS OUR FAVOURITE FOOD.

MY FAVOURITE FOOD WAS BABA GANOUSH.  BABA GANOUSH IS A MIDDLE EASTERN DIP AND BREAKFAST.  I LIKE BABA GANOUSH BECAUSE IT IS SPICY.  BABA GANOUSH IS MANLY MADE WITH EGGPLANT.
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE BABA GANOUSH...

  • 1 medium eggplant
  • 1 large clove garlic (grated or finely minced)
  • 1 medium lemon (juiced)
  • 2 Tbsp tahini.
  •  salt (any kind)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley or basil (optional / chopped)
  • Olive oil (for dressing)

  2. Hey Abd-alrahman,

Baba ganoush! I love how that word just rolls off your tongue. I have heard of this dish before but I have never tried it before. It looks like it would be quite easy to make, maybe I will put it together as a dish for our christmas dinner. Have you tried it before? What do you think would be nice to dip into the baba ganoush?

I am so excited to come back to May Road School on the 17th December to kickstart the Summer Learning Journey. I look forward to seeing you then and doing some more activities.

I hope you enjoy your week,
    Megan :)

  3. This is great Abd-Alrahman!

I like how you shared with us a middle eastern Dish/Dip. Baba Ganosh looks extremely delicious, and If I had the chance to taste it, I would definitely do so.

You mentioned that you usually eat it for breakfast, but have you ever had it for Lunch or Dinner? What do you often dip into Baba Ganoush? Chips? Bread? Tortilla's?

Keep going with your Summer Learning Journey blog posts. You did well with your first one. Enjoy your summer holidays but remember to work!
